США засудили вирок сімом фігурантам другого бахчисарайської «справи Хізб ут-Тахрір», винесений 16 вересня Південним окружним військовим судом в російському Ростові-на-Дону.
«Ми засуджуємо політично мотивоване і невиправдане засудження Росією сімох кримськотатарських журналістів і громадських активістів до тюремного ув’язнення. Росія повинна припинити застосовувати до українців свої несправедливі закони і корумповані судові процеси, а також припинити незаконну окупацію Криму», – зазначили у посольстві США в Україні.
Південний окружний військовий суд у російському Ростові-на-Дону оголосив вирок фігурантам другої бахчисарайської «справи Хізб ут-Тахрір».
Так, Марлену Асанову присудили 19 років колонії суворого режиму, Мемету Белялову – 18, Тимуру Ібрагімову – 17 років, Сейрану Салієву – 16, Серверу Мустафаєву – 14, Серверу Зекір’яєву – 13, Едему Смаїлову – 13.
Ернес Аметов був визнаний невинним і звільнений в залі суду.
Раніше цього тижня прокуратура АР Крим та Севастополя заявила, що вважає вирок фігурантам бахчисарайського «справи Хізб ут-Тахрір» черговим доказом релігійних переслідувань в окупованому Криму.
У ЄС заявили, що не визнають застосування російського законодавства в анексованих Криму і Севастополі, оскільки це незаконно згідно з міжнародним правом, а також передачу громадян України з Криму до судів у Росії.

European countries announced new coronavirus restrictions Friday, one day after the World Health Organization warned infections have started to spread again across the continent at “alarming rates.”
In Spain, which has more cases than any other European country with more than 620,000, the regional government of Madrid ordered a lockdown effective Monday in some of the more impoverished areas after a spike in infections there. While movement in the area will be restricted, people will still be allowed to go to work.
Authorities in Nice, France, have banned gatherings of more than 10 people in public spaces and cut bar operating hours, after new restrictions were imposed earlier this week in Bordeaux and Marseilles.
Britain said it is considering a new national lockdown after cases nearly doubled to 6,000 a day in the latest reporting week. British Health Minister Matt Hancock said another lockdown should be a last resort but that the government would do whatever is necessary to contain the virus.
New lockdown in Israel
Israel begins a second lockdown Friday because of a sharp jump in the number of coronavirus cases.
The three-week-long restrictions come just as the country is set to begin the Jewish holidays.
Israelis are allowed to travel no more than 500 meters from their houses. “The color classification doesn’t make any sense anymore,” Deputy Health Minister Iraj Harirchi said in an interview with Reuters. “We no longer have orange and yellow. The entire country is red.”
India’s Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said Friday that 96,424 new infections and more than 1,000 COVID-related deaths were reported in the last 24 hours.
In North America, Canada has decided to extend the closure of the border its shares with the United States to non-essential travel until October 21, after seeing an increase in infections in recent weeks. Canadian Public Safety Minister Bill Blair said Friday such decisions would continue to be based on public health advice to protect its citizens. The closing was first announced on March 18 and have been extended each month since.
US minorities affected
And in the U.S., the U.S. data released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention this week revealed that members of minorities younger than 21 years old are disproportionately affected by COVID-19 compared with white Americans in the same age group.
Between February 21 and July 31, 121 people younger than 21 died of the disease, according to data compiled from 27 states. Researchers pointed out that certain social conditions, including crowded living environments, food and housing insecurity, and wealth and education gaps, could be contributing factors in the high fatality rates among minority children.
Vaccine trust tumbles
Nearly half of Americans, or 49%, said they definitely or probably would not get an inoculation if a coronavirus vaccine were available today, while 51% said they would, according to a Pew Research Center poll conducted earlier this month.
The 49% who lean toward rejecting the inoculation cited concerns about side effects from the vaccine.
On Friday, the Johns Hopkins Coronavirus Research Center reported there are more than 30 million COVID-19 infections worldwide and almost 950,000 deaths.
The United States has more cases than anywhere else in the world with 6.6 million, followed by India with 5.1 million cases and Brazil with 4.4 million.

Denmark’s prime minister announced Friday new COVID-19-related restrictions after a resurgence of coronavirus infections in recent weeks.
At a news conference in Copenhagen, Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen said Denmark will lower the limit on public gatherings to 50 people, down from 100, and bars and restaurants will close at 10 p.m. She said both measures will take effect Saturday and stay in effect until October 4.
In recent weeks, Frederiksen said, Denmark has seen daily infections rise after a relaxing of lockdown measures imposed between March and May. She said 454 new coronavirus infections had been registered in Denmark over the prior 24 hours, close to an April record of 473.
The prime minister said the COVID-19 reproduction rate, which indicates how many people one infected person on average transmits the virus to, is at 1.5 in the country.
Denmark is part of a growing list of European countries re-imposing or tightening COVID-19 restrictions in the face of surging infections rates that follow relaxed lockdown measures.
Britain, France and Spain have all locked down regions or at least tightened restrictions in targeted areas after seeing cases surge this week. British Health Minister Matt Hancock said a second nationwide lockdown could happen if cases continue to surge.

Російський опозиційний політик Олексій Навальний 15 вересня опублікував у мережі Instagram перше своє фото після отруєння із німецької клініки «Шаріте», де він проходить лікування.
7 вересня лікарі клініки «Шаріте» повідомили, що Навального вивели зі стану штучної коми, і він реагує на зовнішні подразники.
Російський опозиціонер перебував у комі з 20 серпня. На лікуванні в клініці «Шаріте» він – із 22 серпня, в Берлін його перевезли з Омська.
До лікарні Омська Навального доправили після того, як йому стало зле на борту літака, який здійснив екстрену посадку в омському аеропорту.
Влада Німеччини заявила, що в організмі Навального були знайдені сліди отруйної речовини з групи «Новачок». Канцлер Німеччини Анґела Меркель закликала Москву розслідувати те, що сталося з опозиціонером.
Російська влада, посилаючись на лікарів, які лікували Навального в Омську, висловлювала скептичне ставлення до версії отруєння. Кримінальну справу в Росії не порушували.

«Звинувачення такі ж, як і підозри, не конкретизовані. Із них незрозуміло, які саме висловлювання Максима розцінюються як «спрямовані проти національної безпеки», і в цьому так само полягає переслідування за висловлення думки», – сказав адвокат.
За словами Лаєвського, для Максима Знака відмова від їжі в СІЗО – один з небагатьох способів боротьби проти беззаконня.
Раніше сьогодні Марії Колесниковій, одній із лідерів опозиції, членові президії Координаційної ради, також висунулии звинувачення за аналогічною статтею. Їй продовжили арешт до 8 листопада. Обом опозиціонерам загрожує від двох до п’яти років позбавлення волі.
Максима Знака затримали вранці 9 вересня, а пізніше заарештували. У Слідчому комітеті Білорусі заявляли, що мають «докази вчинення представниками Координаційної ради дій, спрямованих на дестабілізацію і заподіяння шкоди нацбезпеці». За версією слідства, зазначені дії «відбувалися з використанням ЗМІ та інтернет-ресурсів».
Юрист Максим Знак був одним із двох членів президії Координаційної ради опозиції, який залишався на волі і не покинув Білорусь. Після його затримання на волі залишилася тільки білоруська письменниця і лауреат Нобелівської премії Світлана Алексієвич, яка не бере активної участі в діяльності ради за станом здоров’я.
У Мінську та інших містах Білорусі понад місяць тривають акції протесту проти фальсифікацій на президентських виборах і насильства над затриманими, люди вимагають звільнити всіх політв’язнів і провести чесні і відкриті вибори. Силовики жорство придушують протести.

У штабі операції Об’єднаних сил повідомили, що підтримувані Росією бойовики на Донбасі упродовж денних годин 18 вересня двічі відкривали вогонь в бік позицій Збройних сил України.
«Поблизу населеного пункту Водяне ворог провокував наших військових із підствольного гранатомета. Водночас поблизу Новотошківського – з великокаліберного кулемета. На збройні провокації з боку противника українські захисники вогонь у відповідь не відкривали», – йдеться в повідомленні.
За даними штабу, серед особового складу Об’єднаних сил бойових втрат і поранень немає.
Однак неподалік населеного пункту Залізне військовослужбовці Збройних Сил України гасили осередок загорання сухої трави і там здетонував невідомий вибуховий пристрій, унаслідок чого один український військовий зазнав поранення, додали у штабі.
У незаконних збройних угрупованнях «ЛДНР» не звітують про ситуацію на лінії зіткнення протягом дня.
Із 00:01 27 липня на Донбасі набрала чинності чергова домовленість про «повне та всеосяжне припинення вогню». З того часу і до 6 вересня українські військові не повідомляли про поранених та вбитих внаслідок бойових дій. Тоді внаслідок обстрілів на Донбасі один військовий загинув, ще один був поранений.
Збройний конфлікт на Донбасі триває від 2014 року після російської окупації Криму. Україна і Захід звинувачують Росію у збройній підтримці бойовиків. Кремль відкидає ці звинувачення і заявляє, що на Донбасі можуть перебувати хіба що російські «добровольці».
За даними ООН, від квітня 2014-го до 31 липня 2020 року внаслідок збройного конфлікту на Донбасі загинули від 13 100 до 13 300 людей.

Hancock said there has been an acceleration in the number of cases over the last couple of weeks, and the number of people hospitalized with the disease caused by the coronavirus has been doubling about every eight days. Disruptive tactics by Belarus, Russia, China and Venezuela have failed to derail a special debate on the human rights situation in Belarus from taking place at the U.N. Human Rights Council in Geneva.The debate began with a report by the U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights, which described the violent crackdowns by Belarusian security forces against thousands of peaceful demonstrators following the country’s disputed presidential election.However, it was the intervention of the U.N. special rapporteur on the human rights situation in Belarus that provoked a firestorm of protests from Belarus and its supporters. They said only representatives of states could speak at a special debate and that others, including the human rights chief and the special rapporteur, must be excluded.The Russian ambassador to the U.N. in Geneva, Gennady Gatilov, accused the council of violating procedural rules.“In this case, we once again repeat our request and the request of other states to cease the dialogue with the special rapporteur, which is not provided for by the format for urgent debates with states,” Gatilov said.President of the U.N. The U.S. Commerce Department said it will issue an order Friday that will bar people in the United States from downloading Chinese-owned messaging app WeChat and video-sharing app TikTok starting on September 20.Commerce officials said the ban on new U.S. downloads of TikTok could be still rescinded by President Donald Trump before it takes effect late Sunday as TikTok owner ByteDance races to clinch an agreement over the fate of its U.S. operations.ByteDance has been talks with Oracle Corp and others to create a new company, TikTok Global, that aims to address U.S. concerns about the security of its users’ data. The official said TikTok U.S. users would not see “a major difference” in the app’s performance until Nov. 12.Commerce will not penalize people who use TikTok or WeChat in the United States.The order does not bar data storage within the United States for WeChat or TikTok.Some Americans may find workarounds. There is nothing that would bar an American from traveling to a foreign country and downloading either app, or potentially using a virtual private network and a desktop client, officials conceded.

Затриману увечері 17 вересня координаторку волонтерів правозахисного центру «Весна» Марфу Рябкову помістили в ізолятор тимчасового тримання на вулиці Окрестіна в Мінську. Кримінальну справу проти неї веде управління Слідчого комітету в Мінську, повідомив центр «Весна», який 18 вересня виступив із заявою щодо затримання своєї співробітниці.
«У межах своєї правозахисної діяльності Марфа разом із волонтерами «Весни» спостерігала за мирними зборами, брала активну участь у кампанії незалежного спостереження «Правозахисники за вільні вибори» та документуванні доказів тортур та іншого жорстокого поводження з затриманими учасниками акцій протесту. Спроби звинуватити Марфу Рябкову у підготовці масових заворушень є безпідставними, надуманими та політично вмотивованими», – заявили правозахисники.
Центр «Весна» розглядає переслідування Марфи Рябкової у зв’язку з її законною правозахисною діяльністю як неприховану кампанію залякування та тиску на організацію в цілому.
Увечері 17 вересня в Мінську затримали координаторку волонтерської служби правозахисної організації «Весна» Марфу Рябкову та її чоловіка Вадима Жаромського. Через кілька годин Жаромського відпустили, повідомляє білоруська служба Радіо Свобода.
Коли Марфа та Вадим поверталися додому, кілька автобусів зупинилися посеред вулиці, невідомі особи вибігли та поклали подружжя обличчям в асфальт. Їм сказали, що їх затримали в межах кримінальної справи за ч. 3 ст. 293 Кримінального кодексу (навчання або інша підготовка осіб до участі у заворушеннях, або фінансування такої діяльності).
У Білорусі триває політична криза, пов’язана з багатотисячними протестами проти оголошеної владою перемоги на президентських виборах Олександра Лукашенка.
Він балотувався на шостий термін поспіль. Прихильники опозиції називають результати сфальсифікованими і закликають провести нові вибори, а також вимагають відставки Лукашенка.
Держави ЄС підсумки голосування в Білорусі не визнали, разом із ще низкою західних країн. Брюссель закликає Мінськ припинити переслідування учасників масових виступів і покласти край насильству з боку співробітників правоохоронних органів.

Представник Генпрокуратури Олексій Подвойський раніше вказував, що з батьками, які взяли з собою дітей на акції, проводяться бесіди і виносяться офіційні попередження, але в деяких випадках органи опіки можуть поставити питання про соціально небезпечне становище дитини.
У Мінську та інших містах Білорусі понад місяць тривають протести і страйки, які розпочалися після оголошення результатів виборів. У перші дні силовики жорстко затримували учасників протестів, серед них були і неповнолітні. Деякі були побиті.
10 серпня силовики побили 17-річного Тимура Міцкевича, якого через сильні травм лікарям довелося вводити в кому. Слідчий комітет Білорусі пізніше заявив про його причетність до збройного нападу на водія вантажівки. Шо6стого вересня в Мінську під час акції протесту співробітники міліції затримали 12-річного Ярослава через напис «3%» на асфальті на проспекті Переможців. Щодо нього склали протокол і відпустили.

Пленум Верховного суду ухвалив звернення до Конституційного суду з проханням офіційно розтлумачити частину першої статті 105 Конституції щодо можливого притягнення президента України до адміністративної відповідальності. Таке рішення ухвалили на засіданні пленуму 18 вересня.
Як уточнили Радіо Свобода у пресслужбі суду, постанову пленуму має підписати голова суду і секретар пленуму. Як тільки постанова буде підписана – її направлять у КСУ.
22 червня Хмельницький міськрайонний суд звернувся до Верховного суду з проханням скликати пленум, щоб вирішити, чи потрібно звертатися до Конституційного суду щодо офіційного тлумачення частини 1 статті 105 Конституції України («Президент України користується правом недоторканості на час виконання повноважень»).
Хмельницький міськрайонний суд цікавиться, чи можливо притягнути президента Володимира Зеленського до адміністративної відповідальності за вчинення адміністративного правопорушення під час виконання повноважень.
3 червня під час робочої поїздки до Хмельницького президент Володимир Зеленський із делегацією попив кави всередині приміщення місцевого кафе в порушення карантинних обмежень. Після того, як фото оприлюднила пресслужба президента мережею поширилася критика користувачів щодо поведінки президента і його оточення в умовах пандемії коронавірусу.
10 червня поліція склала адміністративний протокол на власника кафе та відвідувачів, включно з президентом.

Poland’s governing alliance appeared to be in disarray early Friday, as a dispute over animal rights measures highlighted divisions in the ruling camp, raising the possibility of early elections if differences cannot be resolved. Tensions within the alliance led by the nationalist Law and Justice (PiS) party came into the open after some members did not support the measures, which passed in parliament with opposition support. The dispute over changes to animal rights laws, which are seen as an appeal to younger voters, halted talks on overhauling ministries and threatened deeper problems for the coalition. A Chinese firm with suspected ties to the Chinese government has been amassing a database of detailed personal information on 2.4 million people, including more than 50,000 Americans, according to findings by an independent researcher and an Australia-based cybersecurity firm. Christopher Balding, an American professor who taught at Peking University’s HSBC School of Business in Shenzhen for nine years, analyzed the data with Internet 2.0, a cybersecurity firm based in Canberra. They published their findings this week. Balding said the database was leaked to him in 2019. The cache, called the Overseas Key Information Database (OKIDB), contains the personal information of roughly 2.4 million people. Many of them are influential policymakers who can exert influence in their fields of specialty. According to their report, the database was compiled by China’s Zhenhua Data Information Technology Co. The company was founded in 2017 and had offices in Shenzhen and Beijing. According to The Washington Post, which obtained part of OKIDB, the database also targets military officials. For example, there is detailed information on former Chief of Naval Operations John Richardson; his service history and complete training were highlighted in Chinese. Former U.S. Acting Secretary of the Navy Thomas Modly is also in the database, along with the names of his wife and four children, his educational background and his work history in the private sector. A representative from Zhenhua Data told The Guardian that “the report is seriously untrue,” adding “there is no database of 2 million people,” while denying any links to the Chinese government or military. Analysts say it is not surprising that a consultancy would collect detailed data on prominent figures in different sectors. What matters is how the data is used. Arun Vishwanath, chief technology officer at Avant Research Group, a cybersecurity research firm, told VOA there are two concerns with a data operation of such scale and scope. “One is propaganda, information and disinformation, and the other is being used for targeted attacks, which could have all manner of consequences,” Vishwanath said. “We all need to have better cyber hygiene. We all need to be safer with how we share information online to store information about ourselves online. So this is a responsibility that each of us as individuals share,” he said.
